Huntsville, Alabama and Austin, Texas, lead the list of best U.S. housing markets for investors, according to Housing Predictor.

The site based the assessment on the strength of the regional economy and potential for job growth.


The top five was rounded out by Little Rock, Arkansas; Lawrence, Kansas; and Auburn Alabama. Find the full list here.

Meanwhile, the most expensive small town in the U.S. is Sagaponack, New York, the Hamptons community where the media sales price is more than $4.4 million, according to Zillow.com

Rounding out the top five are Jupiter Island, Florida; Hunts Point, Washington; Los Altos Hills, California and Fairbanks Ranch, California. Find the full list of expensive small towns here.
